Welfare and unemployment

the people whom we will be addressing in this paper is partially the people, and why this is effecting them, more specifically where and how their tax money is being used. and partially to the governing bodies to help prove and help an argument against the topic. we will be able to address both sides by putting the paper in essay format and publishing is on the internet. our goal i to prove why it should be changed, and provide an example and history to how it should be changed, while adding more points to why it should be. this problem effects michigan people tremendously, all the working class pay taxes and want to know what it goes to use for, now a days every one of us knows somebody on welfare or unemployment, as common as it is.

Literature Review
Welfare and Unemployment Checks
When it comes to these two topics there is many views on what should be done if anything. Welfare by definition is; statutory procedure or social effort designed to promote the basic physical and material well being of people in need. Now welfare can mean many different things in which the government is assisting someone, it could mean food, cash, bridge cards, child support, medical assistance, and more. One of the main views is reducing the payout the government gives to the people, creates a stronger application or testing to be able to accept money, and imposes a time limit on all collection benefits. One of the biggest controversy’s debating around welfare recipients right now is to make recipients take drug tests if they shall keep their check supply steady. “The bill’s sponsor – Republican Rep. Jeff Farrington, R-Utica – has said the legislation is about “appropriate uses of hard-earned tax dollars.” He said taxpayers don’t want the money provided for welfare assistance to be going toward paying for substance abuse.” (http://www.mlive.com/politics/index.ssf/2013/03/drug_test_welfare_recipients_m.html ).  And that’s just the tip of he iceberg, when you look at it in a different light, you can see why people would want to keep welfare or keep receiving it. There are a million reasons why some people need government assistance, and the best way I can put it is “things happen”. Things happen that you cant control, maybe your husband passes away unexpectedly and you have no way to support 3 children on a 40 hour a week retail job. There is plenty of statistics on the subject, and none of these topics I’ve discussed even breach the door. So before I get too far into things while not even writing the paper I should probably talk briefly about unemployment. Unemployment in Michigan has become a huge problem, having 8.8% of Michigan receiving unemployment checks (http://www.milmi.org/ ). Unemployment checks to get by for a short period of time is totally fine, but it’s the people who stay on unemployment because they receive as much if not more money than they did while working just to sit around and do nothing. The biggest problem with this phenomenon is that the people doing this are completely content with living off of the government, not having to work a day in their lives.
I think from what I have wrote in this literature review it is pretty easy to see what side I am for. I am for cutting welfare and unemployment substantially, initiating a strict time limit to get people on their feet, and enforcing a much more vigorous screening on whom receives any money.

Blog Post #8:
Q:  Post the topic or problem you are thinking of working with for Project 3. You don’t necessarily need to know your argument right now, but you should have a topic you’d like to explore, or a problem you’d like to solve. Due before next class.

A: the topic id like to talk about could possible be either a new fishing tournament league in michigan, or better road care for michigan roads.
Sorry it has taken me so long, but here are all the other ones i should have just put on here instead of creating a new one. i will be putting all the newest ones onto this one as comments.

It has been recently brought to a lot of peoples attention that the new Rick Clunn RC Stick rip bait is a copy of the megabass Ito Vision 110. There has been millions of questions of which on is better, are they the same, is it worth the money. I have had the liberty to fish both side by side. both set ups were the same for less variables ( Abu Garcia Revo STX filled with 12# Seaguar Invisx line, Paired with a 6'8" MH XF Shimano Cumara). I used the pro blue color of each bait. When comparing out of the water the Ito seems to be a little bit heavier and a little bit wider. Same shape same beaded weight technology, although the Ito used 3 copper balls instead of the RC sticks 1 copper ball. While being out of the water I inspected the stock mechanics of the lure as well. The Ito has much better split rings and comes with barbarian outside barb hooks, the RC stick will have a lot weaker of both. While using them in the water the Ito stops a lot more abruptly, has much more erratic rip and wobble, also makes a different sound. Although the RC stick does catch fish it is in no way shape or form in the same class of rip bait as the Megabass Ito. So IN MY OPINION to answer your questions about the two baits, the Ito is much better than the RC stick in all of the categories besides the price. If you can't afford 25+ a lure than the RC stick is a great alternate but i promise you that if you pony up and make the commitment to the Ito it will pay off. As for those of you that say that the Ito breaks easily I'm not sure what rock piles you are purposely ripping them into but i haven't has a single one break and ill tell you what, I've hit some stuff with them. lol
